Relish Food & Wine Festival
Wharf Street, Maryborough
10am until 5pm
For its eighth year, the annual Relish Food & Wine Festival will be returning to the Mary River Parklands and Queen’s Park. Where there will be a feast of local cuisine, gourmet tastings, cooking workshops, live music and more. Wine tastings are a must, too!

Nature Art and Design Workshop
Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre – 22 Charles Street, Pialba
9am until 3.30pm
In the lead up to the 'Wildfowering by Design: Wild/flower Women IV' exhibition, Hervey Bay is inviting artists to join in workshops – building and sharing skills. This workshop will explore Butchulla culture, noting different ways to capture visual reference material from the natural world. Some materials and morning tea will be provided. Cutting mats, tools and lunch will need to be brought by artists.

Pop Culture Trivia Night
Hervey Bay RSL – 11 Torquay Road, Hervey Bay
from 5.30pm
Test your knowledge of all things pop culture, with 42 themes to choose from. The game-show style trivia night is fundraising to support Dunga Derby. There’s $1,500 in cash and prizes, with a $600 first prize for the ultimate winners. Cash prizes will also be given to the teams who come second, third, and fourth; and, the best-themed table and, best individual costume. Raffles and bar access will also be available.

Beginners Photography Class
Anzac Park – Main Street, Hervey Bay
9am until 12pm
If you’re looking to improve your photography, here’s a great place to start. The class will tach you introductory and essential knowledge for your DSLR camera. Through the three-hour session, the photo walk will have you weaned off of auto-mode, and transforming your everyday snaps into professional-looking shots.

Composting Workshop: Sustainable Waste and Garden Management
Rainbow Gully Community Gardens – Mcliver Street, Pialba
9am until 2pm
This free composting workshop will teach you the benefits of composting and how you can use different methods, including worm farms to convert waste into a valuable resource. Light refreshments will be provided. Lunch and a chair will need to be brought by attendees.

The Owl and the Pussycat Performance
Brolga Theatre and Convention Centre – 5 Walker Street, Maryborough
