Two-vehicle crash involving caravan blocks Bruce Highway at Tiaro

Four people, including three children, have been taken to hospital after a collision between two cars on the Bruce Highway just south of Maryborough.

Four people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the Bruce Highway near Maryborough.

A two-vehicle crash, believed to involve a caravan, brought the Bruce Highway to a standstill at Tiaro before lunch on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics had been called to the scene about 10.13am on Tuesday.

The crash happened near Black Swamp Creek, a spokesman from the Queensland Police Service said.

But the Bruce Highway had been blocked in both directions, he said.

Three children and an adult were injured in the crash and were transported to Maryborough Hospital in a stable condition.
