Two injured in separate Hervey Bay car accidents just minutes apart

Two women have been taken to hospital today after two separate crashes in Hervey Bay within the same hour.

Two women have been hospitalised after two separate crashes within the same hour in Hervey Bay.

Paramedics were called to a two vehicle crash on Old Maryborough Rd and New Haven St in Pialba around 11.50am on Friday.

One female patient with head and neck injuries was assessed at the scene, and she was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.

Just after midday, emergency services responded to a single vehicle crash on Urraween Rd and Madsen Rd, right across from the Hervey Bay Hospital.

Reportedly, an elderly women suffered a medical episode, causing her foot to slip on the accelerator and she crashed into a pole.

A woman aged in her 80s was taken to hospital with minor injuries in a stable condition.
