Truck and car collide at busy Dundowran road intersection

A truck and car have collided at an intersection near Hervey Bay, sparking an immediate emergency response with crews rushing to the scene.

Emergency services are on scene after a truck and car collided at an intersection near Hervey Bay.

Crews rushed to the scene about 11.30am to reports two vehicles collided at the intersection of Lower Mountain and Dundowran Rds.

One ambulance arrived at scene shortly after the collision and police arrived on scene to direct traffic.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said no people were trapped in the crash, and no major injuries have been reported.
