AS THE search continues for a dingo that attacked three children on Fraser Island on the weekend, Maryborough Motel will host a public workshop on dingo management strategy today.

The dingo is said to have lunged at two children, aged 2 and 6, at the Cathedral Beach campground on Saturday morning but they escaped the attack without injury.

The same dingo then tried to bite a 16-year-old girl on Sunday but she used a stick to hold it at bay.

More than 20 rangers are continuing the search for the dingo.

The workshop will be held in the Mary Room at the motel from 8.30am to noon and attendance was free but those planning to go had to register before September 28.
