Queensland Ambulance Service tends to crash on K’gari

A motorcyclist was flown to hospital from K’gari (Fraser Island) following a crash on Eurong Rd.

An injured motorcyclist has been flown to hospital after dirt bike incident on K’gari (Fraser Island).

The rescue chopper flew to the eastern side of the island shortly after 12pm on Sunday and landed at a helipad.

The man, who is aged in his 30s, had been riding with a group of other motorcyclists when the incident occurred.

Car crashes and catches fire on country road

A Queensland Ambulance Service paramedic treated the rider at the scene before driving him to the helipad to meet with the rescue helicopter crew.

Sharks spotted in river, ocean

The man was treated for shoulder and neck injuries.

He was flown to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
