A popular chain store is coming to Hervey Bay and will employ up to 50 people.
TK Maxx will be opening in Stockland Shopping Centre in Urraween on August 19.
It comes after Fresh & Save, also to open at Stockland next month, was inundated with job applicants.
According to the company, TK Maxx offers “everything from fashion to accessories, homewares, beauty and more.”
“Every TK Maxx store offers a different assortment of brands and products and the selection changes constantly. There will always be something fresh and exciting to discover,” TJX Australia Marketing Vice President Tony Dunseath said.
The store will be located next to the newly opened QBD bookstore.
Stockland Hervey Bay Centre Manager Paul Davis revealed a new Skechers and BWS store will also be opening soon.
Mr Davis said he’s pleased to bring “highly sought after” brands to the centre.
“Our team has been working hard to secure the best variety of retailers for our customers, as part of our commitment to creating the best customer experience possible,” Mr Davis said.
“We know customers will appreciate some of these new additions to the centre, having most recently welcomed QBD Books and Saffron Indian, and now TK Maxx, with Fresh & Save, Skechers, SuJus and BWS to open soon.”
The TK Maxx store will be the company’s first store in Hervey Bay and 23rd store in Queensland.
