After allegedly being caught with thousands in cash, heroin, cocaine and other drugs in her car, a Fraser Coast woman was released on strict bail conditions.

But Hervey Bay Magistrates Court this week heard Urangan’s Krystle Geraldine Fleming has since breached those conditions twice, resulting in her being remanded in custody for now.

Ms Fleming, 38, faces 18 charges

Police allege that while conducting patrols in Scarness at 2.40am on December 27, police stopped a car with its headlights switched off.

They further allege Ms Fleming was the sole occupant of the vehicle when they spotted what appeared to be drugs inside.

A subsequent search allegedly located cannabis, heroin, methamphetamines, cocaine as well as $19,000 in cash which was seized.

Along with the two bail breach charges, Ms Fleming is also charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs schedule 1 with the quantity exceeding schedule 3 but less than schedule 4, four counts of possessing dangerous drugs and two counts of possessing utensils or pipes that had been used.

Ms Fleming also charged with obstructing a police officer, two counts of failing to provide a specimen as required of breath for breath test or saliva for saliva test, two counts of failing to provide a specimen of breath, saliva or blood for analysis or test on requirement other than under S 80 (11), possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence, possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence under the Drugs Misuse Act.

Magistrate Trinity McGarvie adjourned the matter until May 16 when a committal hearing will take place.

Ms Fleming will remain on remand until at least then.
