Three people have suffered head injuries in two separate e-scooter crashes overnight.
It follows a shocking run of reported e-scooter emergencies this week with a Boronia Heights woman in her 20s badly burnt after fire in her boot south of Brisbane on Wednesday, triggering an investigation into whether a battery was to blame and Toowoomba teen Maverick Patterson continuing to fight for life in a Brisbane hospital following an e-scooter crash on Monday.
On Tuesday, a school-aged boy was also seriously injured in an e-scooter accident at Caboolture.
In the early hours of Saturday, a male in his 30s sustained a head injury after an e-scooter crash on Burrum Street about 12.32am.
He was transported stable to Hervey Bay Hospital.
Earlier, two e-scooters collided at a private property in Benaraby.
Paramedics attended at 8.54pm and two patients were transported stable to Gladstone Hospital with head injuries.
