Crashes on Booral Rd Urangan, Bruce Highway at Gootchie and Redhill Farms

Five people are being checked by paramedics after a crash at the Hervey Bay Airport entrance while three others were hurt in rollovers on the Bruce Highway overnight.

Five patients are being assessed at the scene of a crash at the Hervey Bay Airport Entrance.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said at least three of those patients were elderly and one was experiencing chest pain.
He said the crash was head-on and all air bags were deployed.
The two-vehicle crash, which happened about 8am, blocked lanes on Booral Rd, Urangan near the entrance to Don Adams Drive.

It comes after two crashes on the Bruce Hwy in the Wide Bay region overnight.

Paramedics took two stable patients, a woman in her 20s and a teen girl to Hervey Bay Hospital following a single-vehicle rollover on the Bruce Highway, Gootchie at 1.36am.

Earlier, a man in his 70s was hurt after his car rolled down an embankment on the Bruce Highway at Redhill Farms in the Bundaberg region at 12.26am.

He was taken to Gin Gin Hospital in a stable condition.
