18 people charged after State Flying Squad deployed to Maryborough
Dozens of charges have been laid after the State Flying Squad was deployed to Maryborough nabbing 17 adults and one juvenile in a massive crackdown.

A deployment to Maryborough has led to the State Flying Squad charging 18 people with 63 offences.
Between June 19 to 25, the specialist SFS police worked alongside local officers to “target, disrupt and deter offenders causing harm in the wider Maryborough community”, according to a statement from the Queensland Police Service.
Seventeen adults and one juvenile were charged with 63 offences including charges for stealing, wilful damage, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possess and supply dangerous drugs, fraud, enter premises and commit indictable offence, authority required to possess explosives, and breach DVO.
On June 23, police executed a search warrant at a Wondunna property where officers allegedly located and seized a variety of drugs and drug utensils.
A 39-year-old Wondunna woman charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and supplying dangerous drugs, two counts of possessing dangerous drugs Schedule 1 drug quantity of or exceeding Schedule 3, possess property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, and possess anything used in the commission of crime and one count each of possess utensils or pipes etc that had been used, authority required to possess explosives, possess utensils or pipes etc for use, fail to properly dispose of needle and syringe and permitting use of place.
She is due to appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on July 10.
A 48-year-old Scarness man charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and possessing dangerous drugs Schedule 1 drug quantity of or exceeding Schedule 3, two counts of possess property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence and one count each of possess utensils or pipes etc that had been used and receiving tainted property.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on August 28.
