Pialba man taken to Hervey Bay Hospital after being hit by car in Torquay
A 47-year-old man is in a serious condition after being hit by a car while crossing a road outside a Night Owl in Hervey Bay.

A man in his 40s has been transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a serious condition after being hit by a car in Torquay Friday night.
The “car into pedestrian” callout was reported around 8.34pm, on the corner of Bideford Street and Boat Harbour Drive just outside the complex which houses the Torquay Night Owl, Cheesecake Shop and BWS.
According to police, the driver of the Toyota Echo was spoken to and uninjured.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the 47-year-old pedestrian was treated at the scene and transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a serious condition, with significant limb and head injuries.

It’s understood police have requested CCTV from the Night Owl and investigations are continuing.
No charges have been laid.
