Fourteen new recruits are headed to the Maryborough Correctional Centre after a graduation ceremony for the new correctional officers was held at the Brolga Theatre on Wednesday.
Maryborough Correctional Centre general manager Kris Winter said she was excited to see the new graduates join an incredible team and start a new career with “wonderful opportunities”.
Medal recipients, who combined had given more than 68 years of service to Queensland Corrective Services, were also honoured during the ceremony.
