One of Maryborough’s most sought-after business premises is for sale.

Mary River Marina, for sale with a $2.2m price tag, offers a boutique RV park, a restaurant, three additional leased shopfronts and two bed and breakfast units.

The restaurant, the Deck & Anchor, has been operating in the location since 71 Wharf closed its doors during the pandemic.

In addition the marina provides a home with a stunning view of the Mary River.

The property includes a self-contained residence with a private riverfront balcony.

It includes a long term seabed lease which has a 150m long floating pontoon with an additional 13 swing moorings.

Has served as a mooring spot for ships at the same location since 1856.

The business is currently owned by Mary River Marina Group Pty.

It last sold in December, 2017, for $1.1m.

The property was owned by Neville and Beverley Foord for more than 20 years.

It is one of the city’s most picturesque locations.

Owning and running the marina has proven to be a challenge over the years with the property, including former restaurant Muddy Waters, going under water during floods in Maryborough five times in recent years, the most recent in February, 2013.
