Gyrocopter crashes at Hervey Bay
A pilot has miraculously walked away relatively unscathed after the small gyrocopter he was flying crash landed on the Fraser Coast.

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a light aircraft incident near the Hervey Bay Golf Club on Friday afternoon.
A gyrocopter has crash landed near the golf course. Miraculously, nobody was seriously injured.
The incident has occurred one week after two pilots died in a horror mid-air collision between two aircraft at Kybong near Gympie.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said they were called to an emergency landing of an aviation vessel about 2pm.
Safety watchdog rules out horror plane crash investigation
The wreckage of the small chopper could be seen in bushland near the Hervey Bay golf course on Old Maryborough Rd and Tooth St at Pialba.
The pilot was not severely injured and out of the aircraft, a QPS spokeswoman said.
A Queensland Emergency Services spokeswoman said one crew attended the scene of a “small fixed-wing aircraft on the ground” on Friday afternoon.
