FRASER Island is open again for campers along most beach zones, despite debris and erosion across the island.
National Parks Minister Steve Dickson said on Friday that a few areas of the park remained closed due to flooding, erosion or fallen trees.
Only the beach zones at One Tree Rocks and Wongai are still closed to campers.
The island was closed more than a week ago after it sustained serious damage thanks to ex-tropical cyclone Oswald.
It was partially reopened to vehicles on Wednesday.
Mr Dickson said debris and erosion meant beach driving conditions across the island were still difficult.
"There is no underestimating the incredible level of damage which occurred throughout Queensland's national parks during this event," he said.
More than 60 other protected areas across Queensland remain closed due to the weather system that has battered the state this week.
