FRASER Island camping grounds will be closed until further notice due to erosion, however vehicles can now access some beach roads on the island.

Eastern beach up to Waddy Point and Orchid beach has been opened as well as the Hook point inland road uo to the 11km beach access point.

National Parks has warned people that most inland roads on the island would remain closed until repairs could be completed.
