Fraser Island ferries are operating but park still closed

FERRY services are back up and running to Fraser Island on Monday after the wild weather forced Kingfisher Bay Resort to cancel services for most of the weekend.
A resort spokeswoman said the resort had no issues with power supply during the storm and had run limited ferry services on Sunday.
Both Eurong Beach Resort and Kingfisher Bay Resort will operate as normal for any guest who can make their way to the island.
Barge services will not run to Wangoolba Creek on Monday.
Tours will not run on the island on Monday after the State Government closed Fraser Island National Park to all visitors, campers and tour operators on Friday due to dangerously high tides and expected flooding in low-lying areas.
All camping areas are still closed until further notice.
