Fisherman's holiday on Fraser Island cut short

The Bundaberg based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter flew to Happy Valley on Fraser Island at 10:35am this morning.

A 63 year old male was holidaying on the island enjoying a fishing trip with friends when he suffered a suspected stroke.

The Bundaberg based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter flew to Happy Valley on Fraser Island at 10:35am this morning.

The rescue service landed at Happy Valley and transported the patient to the Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
