"With active families we love being able to explore. Last month we discovered the Diversity Boardwalk which was a huge surprise."
Chelsea's perfect day at Cape Hillsborough, starts with sunrise on the beach with wallabies and kangaroos.
"It just needs to be on everyone's bucket list, so an early start with a cup of coffee to watch the sun come up would be the start of our day," she said.
The Cape Hillsborough Nature Tourist Park provides the perfect location to do just that and offers a range of accommodation to suit any traveller.
Sharmin said it was not just the wildlife that captured the attention of visitors and locals; the bushwalks and scenery also make Cape Hillsborough National Park a great place to explore.
"Spend the next couple of hours exploring the bush walking trails, spotting turtles and soaking up the scenery, followed by a picnic on the beach," Sharmin said.
"If you're lucky and are visiting after a good rainfall, there's even some hidden waterfalls that are quite amazing. We find the staff at the Cape Hillsborough Resort very friendly and are always giving us tips and showing us the way to go."
