'Don't knock us over' girl in canoe tells whale off Fraser

"DON'T knock us over please," a girl in a canoe asks a giant humpback whale swimming around and underneath the small vessel off Fraser Island.

"DON'T knock us over please," a girl in a canoe asks a giant humpback whale swimming around and underneath the small vessel off Fraser Island.

The youngster, fishing with her dad, films the close encounter, her reaction swinging from panic to wonder, as two humpbacks loll right next to the canoe.

"Dad, is he gunna go under right under?" she asks, breathing heavily.

"Oh my God dad, it's going under, oh my God," she says then squeals.

Later, the girl says hello.

"Oh my God daddy, it's under us," she says.

"Look at all the fishies around it.

"It's right under us dad."

The video ends with the canoe easing away from the massive mammals.
