SPORT councillor Darren Everard has survived to fight another term with division seven voters endorsing him to represent them again.
Despite the admission of email fabrication leaving a Local Government investigation lingering over his head, Cr Everard is sitting pretty with 47% of the vote.
His closest challenger, media identity Peter Carey is at 22%.
Former Australian hockey representative Ken Taylor sits third at 15%.
As of Sunday morning 34% of the roll had been counted.

UPDATE 11PM: Darren Everard is leading the division seven candidates with 47% of the vote.
Here are the results as they stand with about 34% of the roll counted.
Rob Braddock: 5%
Chris Collins: 8%
Ken Taylor: 15%
Darren Everard: 47%
Peter Carey: 22%
EARLIER: Peter Carey, Chris Collins, Ken Taylor and Rob Braddock are all trying to knock incumbent councillor Darren Everard out of the council.
Cr Everard has been the sport councillor since 2012.
The division encompasses Fraser Island, River Heads, Booral and parts of Urangan.
