Little Leah Gallagher was just nine-months-old when she drowned in her bathtub.
Now, her father will be sentenced over his alleged role in her death.
Daniel James Gallagher recently appeared before Maryborough Supreme Court to be arraigned on the manslaughter charge.
He entered a plea of guilty during the brief court appearance.
According to a spokeswoman from the Queensland Police Service, the charge relates to an incident in Scarness on April 2 last year.
Mr Gallagher’s daughter, Leah Jayde, was in the bath when she was allegedly left unattended.
The cause was adjourned to Brisbane Supreme Court on July 20.
Mr Gallagher was allowed to remain on bail until his next appearance.
