Council investigating Urangan dog attack

An incident in which a woman was bitten by a dog at Urangan is being investigated by the council.
The woman, aged in her 30s, suffered a bite to the leg during the incident at Elizabeth Street about 6.11am on Friday and was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
Fraser Coast Regional Council confirmed it had been notified of the attack.
“Council is aware of an incident and is investigating,” a spokesman said.
