Just months after a Hervey Bay man won millions on Gold Lotto, the Fraser Coast is celebrating another massive win.

A million-dollar winner has chosen to stay completely anonymous in the wake of their incredible windfall.

The Hervey Bay shopper’s big win came after they purchased a ticket at KC’s Gifts and Games in Main Street, Pialba.

The Queensland player held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

Each division one winning entry scored $1,030,064.41.

However, how they plan to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

KC’s Gifts and Games business manager Cheryl Bader said it was the first time the outlet had sold a division one winning entry.

“We’ll be celebrating our customer’s success and share the good news with the KC’s Gift and Games’ customers, staff and the wider community,” she said.

“We’re often told by our customers that we’re lucky for them.

“Congratulations to our winner.

“We’re so excited that you chose us to sell your winning entry to you.

“We hope this win has a positive impact on your life.”

The lucky winner isn’t the first local resident to claim a big Lotto prize recently.

A Hervey Bay man celebrated the New Year as a multi-millionaire after winning Gold Lotto.

Each division one winning entry pocketed $2,307,692.31.

“I’m just trying to get my head around it,” the man said at the time.

The winning 18-game QuickPick was purchased at newsXpress Eli Waters at Eli Waters Shopping Centre.
