CareFlight completes fifth airlift from Fraser Is this week
THE Bundaberg-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a woman in her late 50’s with a medical condition from Fraser Island this morning.

THE Bundaberg-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a woman in her late 50's with a medical condition from Fraser Island this morning.
The Bundaberg crew was tasked to aid the woman shortly before 9.45am.
The rescue helicopter met the woman at a helipad located on the island where she was assessed by CareFlight medical staff.
She was then flown to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
This is fifth airlift from Fraser Island the not-for-profit community rescue service has completed in the past week.
