A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after suffering a “significant” leg injury after falling from a motorcycle near Maryborough.

A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital with a “significant” leg injury after a fall from a motorcycle on Saturday.
The 14-year-old fell from the motorcycle and collected a tree branch on the way, a spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said, leaving him with a leg injury.
The incident happened at the corner or Bidwill Rd and Maryborough-Cooloola Rd in Granville about 2.36pm.
The boy was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
