Body found in vehicle submerged in creek near Maryborough
Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in a creek at a quiet seaside town on Queensland’s Fraser Coast.

The body of an elderly man has been found in a vehicle submerged in Maaroom Creek.
The discovery was made shortly after 7am Friday.
Police investigations into this incident are ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
Officers were called to Granville Rd, Maaroom after the vehicle was spotted.
The vehicle was retrieved and the body of the driver and sole occupant, a 77-year-old man who lived in the general area, located inside.
