The region’s movers and shakers have come together to celebrate the Fraser Coast Business and Tourism Awards.
During the event, Hyne Timber was named the 2021 Fraser Coast Business of the Year.
It also claimed the award in the Marketing category and for Customer Service.
It was just one of the businesses celebrated in the region.
Vivere Homes was named the winner of the Trade and Manufacturing category.
Pie and Pastry Paradise won the Retailing category.
In the category of Primary Industries and Agri-Business, Lychee Divine was named the winner.
Lychee Divine was also named the winner in the Innovation category.
Hervey Bay Secretarial and Serviced Offices won the award for Professional and Small Business Services.
The winner of Bar and Club Dining was Hervey Bay RSL, while Portside Cafe claimed two awards on the night, one for Best Dining Experience and another for Best Restaurant or Cafe.
The winner of the Camping, Caravan and RV category was Discovery Parks in Hervey Bay.
Emeraldene Inn and Eco-Lodge won the General Accommodation category while Kingfisher Bay Resort won the Resort and Deluxe Accommodation category.
The winner of the Land-Based Tourism category was Maryborough Military and Colonial Museum and the Marine Based Tourism winner was the Pacific Whale Foundation.
FC Sport Media won the award for Online Retailing.
Maryborough Horticultural Society won the Event and Event Management award.
Maryborough State High School continued its winning streak in the Education Provider category, taking home the award for the third year in a row.
Southern Cross Support Services won the award for Health Provider.
In the category of Not-For-Profit, Community and Charities, Community Lifestyle Agency was named the winner.
Fraser Island Boat Charters was named the region’s Best New Business.
FraserPop Culture Festival and Kingfisher Bay Resort were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
