YET another possible irukandji sting has been reported on Fraser Island.
A 9-year-old boy was airlifted off the island on Saturday at 5.05pm after being stung by a jellyfish.
The boy, who is from Ingleburn, was swimming at Cathedral Beach when he was stung on his right arm.
The boy was taken to Happy Valley by the island's paramedic where he was met by the AGL Rescue Helicopter.
He was accompanied by the father as he was airlifted to Hervey Bay Hospital.
The boy is the fourth victim in the past week, with a five year old boy and two men also being stung on the island.
