A man in his 30s was flown to Hervey Bay Hospital after a dirt bike crash in a State Forest on Wednesday.
An RACQ LifeFlight spokesperson said they were called to the scene just after 3.30pm, where it was thought the man was riding his dirt bike in Tuan State Forest when he hit an embankment and came off.
They said he suffered chest and shoulder injuries, but his brother was forced to leave him and ride away to get a phone signal to call for help.
When the rescue helicopter arrived, the spokesperson said the pilot landed the aircraft in an open area nearby, and paramedics and police helped move the injured rider.
He suffered chest and shoulder injuries, and was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
