Hundreds of Preppies had their first day of their school career on Tuesday and Wednesday across the Fraser Coasta.

The graduating class of 2037 has officially begun their schooling career, and Fraser Coast Chronicle photographers have been busy capturing precious moments from their very first year at school.

The young 2025 Prep students looked smart in their brand new uniforms, toothy grins on display for the photographers who memorialised this milestone year.

The Prep students were part of 890,000 Queensland students heading to school across the state.
