The students of Maryborough State High School walked the red carpet on Friday night as the school celebrated its Year 12 formal.
A range of classic cars delivered the students to the front of the school, with all entries staged to ensure social distancing as Covid-19 precautions remained in place.
The arrivals began about 3.15pm and continued until 6pm.
Maryborough State High School was the first to host its formal, with others set to follow in coming months.
It was a challenge for schools to prepare for the formals season last year, but this year, with Covid well in hand, fewer restrictions are expected and students are well versed in using hand sanitiser and maintaining social distances.
