Former Mongols Mark Balsillie and Sam Abdulraham ejected from gang

Two more heavyweight Mongols bikies have been booted out of the gang as the Queensland-based national president flexes his muscle following a return to power.

Who’s who in the bikie underworld?

Two more heavyweight Mongols bikies have been booted from the feared gang as its Gold Coast-based national president Nick ‘The Knife’ Forbes flexes his muscle following his return to power.

Melbourne-based former senior Mongols member Mark Balsillie and kickboxer Sam ‘The Punisher’ Abdulrahim were kicked out of the gang on Wednesday after being summoned to a meeting on the Glitter Strip and told to hand in their colours.

Both men are understood to be close allies of Toby Mitchell, the notorious bikie who was kicked out of the Mongols earlier this month for alleged disloyalty to the gang.

Forbes recently returned as national president of the Mongols following time in jail and on parole for drug offences, with another Melbourne-based bikie, Phillip Main, taking over as the gang’s national sergeant-at-arms.

Balsillie, 37, who is facing cocaine trafficking charges, was a member of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang until he was shot multiple times in Melbourne in 2017 in what was believed to be an attempted gang hit.

A $500,000 Lamborghini Huracan was among luxury cars seized by Victorian police as alleged proceeds of crime during their investigation.

But Victoria’s anti-corruption commission recently launched a probe into allegations that police used bugged phone conversations between Balsillie and his lawyer to charge the bikie.

Abdulrahim, 30, is the former boyfriend of Married At First Sight star Jessika Power.

He spent two years in jail over a high-speed crash in his Ferrari 360 Spider in Melbourne in 2015 which left an 88-year-old great-grandmother dead.

He went to court last year to regain his driver’s licence, despite strong opposition from police.

An underworld source said Balsillie and Abdulrahim were kicked out of the Mongols for “treachery” to the gang and their close association with Mitchell.

It’s believed they were ordered to fly from Melbourne to the Gold Coast to face gang bosses before immediately returning.

“At least they had the guts to front up, unlike Mitchell,” the source said

Mitchell, who has survived multiple assassination attempts, was kicked out of the gang on April 1 in what he thought was an April Fool’s joke.

The Insta-famous bikie had angered Forbes and other Mongols heavyweights over allegations including he was “running with dogs”, including a witness in a manslaughter case against a former Mongol.

In line with strict bikie gang tradition, Mitchell had his Mongols tattoos removed the following day at the City of Ink tattoo parlour in South Melbourne.
