Extensive delays after car and motorcycle collide in Brisbane CBD

Motorists in the Brisbane CBD are facing extensive delays this afternoon after a motorcycle and car collided on the Riverside Expressway.

A crash between a motorcycle and car is causing long Friday afternoon delays with cars backed up from the Treasury Casino to the Gabba.

Afternoon motorists were at a standstill as emergency crews dealt with the crash on the Riverside Expressway at 1.10pm.

Paramedics treated a man who is believed to be in a stable condition.

The multi-vehicle crash was northbound on the Riverside Expressway, under the Turbot Street off ramp in the right lane.

The road has now been cleared as traffic resumes flowing into the city.
