Qld police investigate claims mum drugged daughter

Explosive new claims about the Queensland woman under police investigation for allegedly drugging her daughter have come to light, with a former colleague claiming the influencer allegedly lied about the passing of her father.

The former colleague told The Courier-Mail she had become quite close to the woman while they worked together.

“We became very close, very quickly. I thought she was one of the nicest people I had ever met. Before I knew it, we were messaging all the time, even when we weren’t at work,” she said.

“I quickly saw that her life was so dramatic. Every day she came into work, there was a new drama.”

The former colleague said the woman informed their workplace that her dad was dying.

“She would be going out to all these appointments and said she needed to move to the Sunshine Coast to be closer to him,” she said.

Despite claiming she wanted to be closer to her father, the colleague said the woman took a job in Brisbane after leaving their workplace.

“I found out afterwards he didn’t die. There was a picture of her dad and her current husband. She didn’t know her current husband when she told me her dad died,” she said.

“The day after she said he died, she was going out to her work Christmas party. I ended up going out clubbing, and she was totally normal as if nothing had happened at all.”

She said her workplace sent the woman care packages after learning of her dad’s passing.

The Courier-Mail sighted a social media account that is believed to belong to the high profile woman’s father prior to publishing the first story last week. The account has since been deactivated.

The Courier-Mail has been unable to find a copy of a death notice.

When asked about her response to the recent allegations, the former colleague said she was in disbelief.

“I haven’t been able to work properly,” she said.

“She comes across as such a lovely person. You just don’t expect anyone to lie about those sorts of things.”

A video of the woman claiming she was healed from stage five kidney disease after attending a Sunshine Coast church in November 2019 was uncovered last week.

The Courier-Mail can reveal that prior to delivering the speech at the church, the woman posted a picture of a needle on her Facebook profile while documenting her struggle with kidney disease.

“I wish I could say that this needle was for a horse, but unfortunately it’s for me. Not just one of these needles, but two of them (one for blood in, one for blood out), three times a week for approximately five hours at a time,” the high profile woman wrote.

The post has since been removed.

The Courier-Mail understands the picture of the needle was originally uploaded by a different person one year prior to the post made by the high profile woman.

“This is my Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Yep! This needle isn’t for a horse, it’s for me! I get not one but two of them three times a week. They are 15 gage, one inch needles. I really think the word ‘needle’ doesn’t do them justice. One of them is for blood in and the other is for blood out,” she wrote.

In response to comments referencing the similarity of both posts, the person said she had no connection to the high profile woman.

“I am in the US. I am happy to verify this is my post and I posted it in 2018,” she wrote.

The high profile woman was contacted for comment on the claims made about her father, however her legal team stated they will not be providing a comment until the police investigation concludes.

Police confirmed investigations are still ongoing.
