There were only 73 individuals however who lodged a tax return within the 4009 postcode during the 2019-20 tax year, according to the data.
The 4171 postcode including Bulimba, Hawthorne and Balmoral came in a close second with an average $108,115 of taxable income.

However, breaking the trend of inner-city suburbs was the state’s 10th-wealthiest postcode of 4744 in Moranbah, a rural mining town in North Queensland with an average taxable income of $95,134.
Other surrounding inland postcodes landed in the top 20 richest in the state, including May Downs, Middlemount, Tieri, Dysart and Blackwater all with average taxable incomes between $92,000 and $87,000.
