Emergency services in rescue mission after hikers missing on mountain

Emergency services have launched a rescue mission after two hikers got stuck on a mountain southwest of Brisbane.

A rescue mission was underway on Sunday night to locate two hikers who got stuck on a mountain southwest of Brisbane on Sunday.

The pair were hiking Mount Greville in Moogerah, Scenic Rim when they became trapped.

It’s believed the pair had been on the mountain for several hours before rescue efforts began.

The search effort was being led by QFES on Sunday evening with the assistance of police.

There have been no reports of injuries.
