Elderly man in hospital with serious injuries after ladder fall

An elderly man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a fall from a ladder at a home on Brisbane’s southside.

A man aged in his 70s is in the Princess Alexandra Hospital after falling from a ladder at a Sunnybank home.

Paramedics have taken an elderly man to hospital after he fell from a ladder at a Brisbane home Tuesday morning.

The fall occurred at a private address in Sunnybank Hills.

An Ambulance spokesperson said that because the fall had occurred at a private home, an address could not be provided.

It is understood that the man, believed to be aged in his 70s, suffered serious chest and head injuries and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

He was in a serious condition.
