Many major Brisbane retailers and restaurants will have different trading hours for the four-day Easter long weekend.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

BUS

Buses will run on a Sunday/public holiday timetable on Friday April 7, Sunday April 9 and Monday April 10, with most bus services running on the normal Saturday timetable on Saturday April 8. The Blue CityGlider, Maroon CityGlider will run on a reduced timetable on the long weekend except for the Saturday, and bus routes 261, 262, 299, and 399 will have no services for the entire long weekend.

TRAIN

Trains will be impacted with track closures on the Airport, Beenleigh, Cleveland, Gold Coast, Ferny Grove and Shorncliffe lines from Good Friday April 7 to Easter Monday April 10. All other services will run to a Sunday/Public Holiday timetable on the Friday, Sunday and Monday.

FERRY

Ferry services will run on a Sunday/public holiday timetable. The Southern Moreton Bay Island ferry will run on a Sunday timetable on the Friday, Sunday and Monday, and will run to the usual timetable on the Saturday.

POST OFFICES

Australia Post offices will be closed across the Easter weekend.
