Eagleby Pacific Motorway crash causes 90-mintute delays

A nine-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway south of Brisbane has left one person in hospital and caused major delays for peak-hour commuters.

A nine-vehicle crash has caused long delays and traffic chaos for commuters south of Brisbane on Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported in the soutbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway at Eagleby just after 6am.

Southbound lanes near Exit 35 were blocked, with delays of up to 90 minutes after the crash.

Congestion has since eased.

A man in his 20s has been taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition with facial and neck injuries.

By 8.30, traffic delays had dropped back to 15 minutes.
