Driver dead, another injured after head-on crash at Cashmere, north of Brisbane
A motorist has been killed and another injured after a horror head-on crash just north of Brisbane.

Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage to come forward after a 26-year-old Warner man died following a head-on crash in Brisbane’s north today.
Queensland Police said the Warner man was driving a Hyundai Getz along Kremzow Road about 10.15am today when it crashed with a Mitsubishi Triton ute heading in the opposite direction.
The Hyundai driver sustained “significant injuries” and was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police.
The head-on collision between the car and the ute was described as “horrible” by witnesses.
A man and a woman who were in the Triton were assessed by paramedics for minor injuries.
The man has been taken to Saint Andrews Hospital for treatment.
Parts of Kremzow Road between Ita Buckby Road and Rolland Parade remain closed.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
