Driver seriously injured after crash with e-scooter at Pimpama

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being cut from her vehicle following a crash with an e-scooter south of Brisbane, with southbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway impacted.

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being cut from her vehicle following a crash with an e-scooter south of Brisbane.

Paramedics were called to Creek St at Pimpama about 7am to reports of a two-vehicle and e-scooter crash.

A woman in one of the vehicles had to be cut from her car by Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.

She has suffered a serious arm injury and has been rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition with critical care paramedics on board.

A man in the second car suffered a suspected hip injury and has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

The male e-scooter rider suffered a lower leg injury and has been take to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.

Queensland Police have closed the road in both directions about 1km south of the Mirambeena Dr intersection.

The road closures are causing major traffic delays as cars are being turned around by police.

The southbound Pacific Motorway lanes are also impacted by traffic from the crash.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
