DREAMWORLD patrons have again been left stranded on its troublesome BuzzSaw roller-coaster after it malfunctioned during a busy Good Friday at the Coomera theme park.

About 12 patrons were trapped in mid-air on the ride earlier today after a safety sensor was triggered about 11.30am.

A spokesman said the ride was stopped for about five minutes as a ‘standard safety procedure’.

The ride has now been shut down while engineers investigate.

It’s the second time in six weeks the BuzzSaw has broken down with passengers stranded.

The ride was closed in February 2015 due to safety issues.

The BuzzSaw was next to the Thunder River Rapids ride on which four tourists were killed last October.
