Dramatic Logan service station arrest as police find allegedly stolen car

A woman and a man, and one teenager, have been arrested at a service station south of Brisbane after police found an allegedly stolen car.

CCTV has captured police pulling a woman out of a vehicle and arresting her on the ground after allegedly stealing a car.

Calamvale Police were patrolling shortly after midnight on April 7 when they found an allegedly stolen red Holden at a Compton Rd service station at Karawatha.

A 37-year-old Woodridge woman who was in the Holden was arrested. A 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old male were then arrested.

The footage shows police running through the service station arresting the two men before allegedly finding scales and drugs on them.

Police allege the trio stole the red Holden from a Martens St address at Mount Warren Park hours earlier.

Police allege the 21-year-old man made several attempts to provide a false identity to police.

The 21-year-old Kingston man was charged with two counts of contravene a requirement, and one count each of attempting to pervert justice, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit indictable offence, receiving tainted property (car keys), possessing utensils for use, and possessing a knife in public.

He was expected to front Richlands Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The 37-year-old Woodridge woman was charged with one count each of UUMV, possessing dangerous drugs (methylamphetamine) and possession of a pipe that had been used.

She is expected to appear at Richlands Magistrates Court on April 16.

The 16-year-old Mount Warren Park male was charged with one count each of UUMV, possessing a knife in public, possession of a pipe that had been used and two counts of possessing dangerous drugs (Fantasy GHB and methylamphetamine).

He is expected to appear before Beenleigh Childrens Court on April 14.
