Delays on Pacific M’way as crash shuts down southbound lanes near Rochedale

A crash has closed southbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway causing delays for motorists in the Rochedale area.
Just before 9am, a car crashed into the centre guard rail impacting southbound lanes on the Pacific Motorway.
Paramedics are on scene and assessing a man in his 30s with a serious chest injury.
He will be transported to Princess Alexandra in a stable condition.
The impacted lanes on the motorway will remain shut for up to an hour.
Traffic is starting to build heading southbound with delays up to 10-minutes in Eight Mile Plains.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
