Delays build after crash on Bruce Highway

Bruce Highway motorists are being told to expect delays of more than half an hour north of Brisbane after an earlier motorcycle and car crash.

Two people are being treated by paramedics after a crash north of Brisbane, causing traffic delays on a major highway.

Emergency services attended the southbound vehicle and motorcycle incident on the Bruce Highway Griffin between Dohles Rocks Road and North Lakes exits about 1.30pm.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 30s was treated on scene for an arm injury while the occupant of the car suffered minor injuries.

Traffic has been affected in both directions with delays of up to 35 minutes expected.
