HIGH profile Brisbane lawyer Debbie Kilroy has tweeted that she is now feeling “quite unwell with flu-like symptoms” after testing positive to Coronavirus.

Ms Kilroy, who heads Sisters Inside, an advocacy group for female prisoners, was on the same flight as Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton, who also has the virus.

She was travelling with a friend, who also tested positive.

Ms Kilroy posted on twitter that she was being quarantined at home and had been in isolation for three days. She had not been feeling unwell when her test came back positive.

“I’m healthy and should be fine after 14 days,” she wrote overnight.

But this afternoon she posted that her condition had worsened.

“Day 3 in quarantine in our community,” she wrote.

“Being well looked after by (Queensland Health professionals.

“I feel quite unwell with flu-like symptoms. Don’t risk your health cause virus is vicious. Self-quarantine and take care everyone.”
