TWO men have targeted six businesses in an early morning crime spree across Jandowae and Chinchilla on Monday.

The offenders were caught on CCTV footage in Jandowae at 1.20am with caps and handkerchiefs across their face to disguise themselves.

The pair broke into a local butcher shop and damaged the property whilst also stealing $200 in coins.

An accounting office was also targeted, which they ransacked and stole $50 of petty cash.

They also attempted to break into a newsagency and pharmacy, but were unsuccessful.

The pair were next spotted on CCTV footage in Chinchilla at 3.08am, where they successfully broke into Murrays Coaches and Erb Brothers Transport.

Officer in Charge of Chinchilla Police Station Sergeant Gerard Brady said the men entered both businesses by jimmying open doors and stole small quantities of cash.

It is believed the offenders are not locals and were travelling through the towns when the incidents occurred.
