Police will allege a 69-year-old man took off his pants before rubbing them all over his genitals and hurling them at a Dalby police officer’s head.

Police were called to a Drayton Street home in the early hours of September 5 over a noise complaint.

Senior Sergeant Sean Donaghey said when the resident ignored the officers’ directions to turn down music, he was arrested and taken to Dalby watch house.

“He was playing up the whole time, he put a blanket down the toilet,” he said.

It’s alleged the 69-year-old took off his shirt and it was taken from him to ensure he didn’t use it to harm himself.

Police will allege the man then pulled down his pants and wiped them all over his genitals before throwing them at the officer’s head.

The man was picked up again by police on Monday for another noise evade direction, and was found to be in breach of a no alcohol bail condition.

He was charged with serious assault of a police officer, two counts of contravening a requirement, public nuisance and breach of bail condition.

He is expected to face Dalby Magistrates Court on September 27.
